Offered for sale is a 1796L 1992 BMW E30 318i Convertible 'Design Edition' manual that has been with the current owner for the last 4 years. Coming with a partial history file, this lot's condition scores an impressive 100 / 135.

A very well presented E30 Cabriolet....
E30 convertibles are now becoming very desirable and are starting to appreciate in value and here we have one of only 200 'Neon Blue Design Edition' models. This particular car has been well maintained by its current vendor regardless of cost and has benefitted recently from a new hood with electrics amongst many other large items. Day to day servicing has been carried out by the respected team at Munich Legends and they also replaced the timing belt last year. The suspension has also been recently serviced with components being replaced where required and a new set of tyres fitted. The current vendor has used this car for many long haul trips and he tells us it has performed effortlessly although these cars were initially designed and spec'd more with the 'Boulevard' in mind. There aren't many of the original 200 Neon Blue cars around and this must be a great contender for an entry-level classic car and deserves good consideration.

Brand new soft top roof and full electric mechanism as well as new rear panels installed by Munich Legends this summer, original windows and bumpers including original Hexagon BMW K-reg number plates, paint has a brilliant shine and is a rare colour. Small mark on drivers side plastic bumper trim, small bubbling on drivers door commensurate with age.

Drivers seat re-bolstered by Munich Legends, some wear in usual place on right hand side of drivers seat. New front roof seal installed by Munich Legends. Small crack on dashboard on passenger side - common on E30s. Everything works as it should. All original apart from aftermarket radio.

Significant work carried out at regular intervals at Munich Legends to keep the car in good everyday condition. • 02/06/2012: New battery and coolant, Inspection II service • 02/08/2012: New toothed belt kit & pulleys, new wipers • 22/03/2013: New viscous fan coupling, new oil filter. Inspection II service • 16/04/2013: New suspension all round including wishbones, absorbers, bushes, roll-bar. New front coupling. New steering track rod. New alternator and PAS belts. • 31/03/2014: New cam shaft and rockers. New fuel tank. Inspection II service. New gear selector seal. Wheel alignment. • 07/07/2015: New roof installed, along with new electric roof mechanism and roof motor/gears. New front roof seal. New rear wheel arches. 4 new tyres (Toyo TR1s). Inspection I service. Note that I have driven the car for around 20,000 miles in 3.5 years, without any issue whatsoever. From the South East I have gone on trips to Brussels, France (x2), Scotland (x3), Conrwall. The car works like clockwork and can drive for 8hrs on the highway as well as any modern car.

16/04/2013: New front coupling. New alternator and PAS belts. 02/06/2012: New battery All electrics work properly as they should, apart from the passenger side electric mirror. The service indicator and oil change light sensors stopped functioning when the battery was changed in 2012. As a result they are permanently "on" and cannot be switched off following a service - this is a common E30 issue.

There is a gap in the car's service history from the early 2000s to around 2008. Subsequently I have a file of MoTs and services carried out by previous owners, as well as all receipts of my comprehensive servicing of the car at regular intervals at Munich Legends, while the car was in my possession from April 2012 to current day. There are currently no advisories on the MoT.
