Classic Car Auctions says:

Charming early Stag in need of some recommissioning...

  • Dating from mid-October 1972, this example appears to be the 12th 3rd-sanction car off the line
  • Fitted from new with a high-compression engine and a Type 35 automatic gearbox
  • Electronic ignition, Electric fan, wind diffuser and a woodrim steering wheel
  • MOT history up to the point when an MOT was not required. Several bills for spares, tyres
  • From ten years ownership and described by him as a "rolling project"
  • Some attention required in most areas but we understand it runs well (see vendor comments)
  • Sensibly guided to allow a few thousand pounds to bring it up to the next level

The reverse light does not work. I believe the switch in the transmission is faulty.
