Americana in all its post-war glory, a big green 2-door 'Coop'...

  • At the top of the Clipper Super line was the Panama, a handsome hardtop Coupe
  • Just 3,618 were built at a cost of $2,766. This smart example was imported in 2014
  • Resprayed a few years ago in its original colours of Galahad Green over Orchard Green
  • Powered by the smooth straight-eight, 5.6-litre "Thunderbolt" flat-head engine
  • 1950s styling and space abound in the Green Brocade interior
  • Further detailing and the resolution of a brake issue would return it to its best
  • Our vendor has replaced all the brake pipes and fitted a new servo
  • Either way, it's a straight-eight, 5.6-litres of American brawn and will turn heads everywhere
