Classic Car Auctions says:

A smart little 'A' Roadster benefiting from an older restoration...

  • UK-supplied, right-hand drive, Mk1 Roadster (GHN) first registered on 27/06/1960
  • Classically presented in Old English White with a chrome luggage rack and a MkII grille
  • Some restoration by David Lightfoot in 1989 including a new wiring loom
  • Substantial restoration by Ken Wasling of Withernsea in 1995/1997. Sold in May 2000
  • Its new owner appears to have spent a further £5,000 including a full respray
  • Purchased by our vendor in 2006. Now has 77,743 miles indicated (only 3,000 since 1989)
  • Generally in very nice condition and, with new carbs recently fitted, "runs very well"
  • Accompanied by a substantial quantity of invoices listing parts and maintenance
  • Seriously pretty and quintessentially British, MGAs offer real driving pleasure on the open road and make great entries into local rallies and club events
